Welcome. Sit, Stay!

Sue and Patty in 2005

...a bright-eyed spirited cartoon pup with an ever wagging tail and a very important job to do;

promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for the cure. Hope was created by Rhode Island artist Sue Kent in honor of her closest friend, Patty Kubacki who was diagnosed with late stage breast cancer in 2005.

Meet Spirit...

“Hope” lead the way, and Sue’s second creation...

“Spirit”, a bright-eyed spunky cat, stating,

"Purr for the Cure” followed. Together, this dynamic duo is spreading awareness, giving endless support,

and raising funds for the cure.

Meet Patty...Our HERO!

Patty, now celebrating her 9th year milestone battling the disease has never taken a single day of her survivorship for granted.  Since her diagnosis, she is passionate about her family & friends, has learned to kayak, play guitar & Irish step dance, run a 1/2 marathon, adopted a Pug named Mia, and spent her 50th Birthday in the audience of the Ellen Show!

Her cancer has now been down staged from stage 3B to stage 2, and to quote the ultimate cancer survivor, Lance Armstrong, Patty “now only has good days and great days.”
